After a long period of reflection and soul-searching, I found myself in Poland, where I created this little scene.

It is now in the possession of Ms. Przsczylwnwycz Szczwybrlwynscka, who expects to sell it in New York and retire from her job as air stewardess for Lot Airlines.

Berthold Anfanger.

I think a front door should be painted yellow; I hope you agree? Especially Polish airline cheese yellow.

I'm a little worried about the slice of green pepper; I feel it jars somewhat and adds a certain vulgarity to the whole. In an earlier period I might have happily thrown it in and not cared, but now... I will wait for a flood of comments. Unfortunately it is too late to remove it and I will have to face the consequences.

Dear Berthold Anfanger,
This is an exquisitely beautiful piece of work.
I would like to buy it.
How much would you consider selling it for?
